Providers can stay on top of their scheduled appointments by configuring preferences that support reminders, calendar sync, and overall appointment visibility. CharmHealth offers two key ways to do this: Appointment Preferences and Google Calendar Integration.
Configuring Appointment Preferences
Appointment Preferences are member-specific (each provider/staff member can configure their own settings based on their preferences/needs).

Google Calendar Sync (CharmHealth → Google Calendar)
Charm allows providers to synchronize appointments and events to their personal Google Calendar.
What this does
When a new Appointment or Event in Charm is created, it will also automatically appear in their synced Google Calendar.
HIPAA / Security Note
Charm states this integration is secure and HIPAA compliant, and no PHI is shared with Google.
Data pushed to Google Calendar includes:
- Appointments
- Patient Record ID
- Appointment Type
- Visit Type
- Facility Name
- Other Events
- Event Type
- Event Description
